Intelligent Solutions' decade long experience in providing intelligent system's based solutions to the oil and gas industry has been compiled in these state-of-the-art software applications that are unmatched in our industry.

Intelligent Solutions, Inc. brings some of the most innovative software applications to the Oil & Gas industry. These applications are:

  • Intelligent Data Evaluation & Analysis, IDEA™.
Intelligent Solutions' flagship product, IDEA™ is the most innovative, complete and integrated data mining software application for the oil and gas industry. It includes many proprietary algorithms specifically developed for the oil and gas industry that makes development of intelligent, data driven models quite accessible to oil and gas professionals. IDEA™ serves as the main engine for several of our innovative and intelligent software applications.

  • Intelligent Best Practices Analysis, IBPA™.
Intelligent Best Practices Analysis is a process developed by Intelligent Solutions, Inc. that incorporates the latest data mining and knowledge-discovery techniques in order to identify the best practices in any oil and gas related processes based on the available data. It is a fully data driven, and therefore unbiased, analysis that can discover easy to understand rules pertaining to the previous practices and recommend their use in identified circumstances.

  • Intelligent Production Data Analysis, IPDA™.
We strongly believe that there are much more to production data that meets the eye. Our industry can tap into this readily available data and deduce precious information. The Intelligent Production Data Analysis is a set of processes developed by Intelligent Solutions, Inc. that builds on previous developments in our industry and take them an important step forward to reveal their true value in optimizing well placements, identifying under-performers, reservoir characterization, and identifying major and minor natural fracture trends, to name a few.

  • Intelligent Candidate Selection Analysis, ICSA™.
This process will assist petroleum professionals to accurately identify best candidate wells for a new operation, in order to improve the odds of success. Examples of such operations are workovers, stimulation, water flooding, new completions, steam injection, and restimulation to name a few. In a recent multi-vendor research project sponsored by the Gas Research Institute, the candidate selection process developed by Intelligent Solutions, Inc. was proved to be the most successful technique for restimulation candidate selections. The process was validated in Rocky Mountain and Mid Continent as well as South Texas and later in a controlled and simulated environment.

  • Intelligent Reservoir Characterization & Analysis, IRCA™.
This process that has been pioneered by Intelligent Solutions, Inc. since early 1990s assists geoscientists and petroleum professionals to generate synthetic wireline logs. It also correlates reservoir properties to multiple wireline well logs and accommodates the prediction of rock types, permeability, relative permeability end-points, effective porosity, and fluid saturations from well logs. The process has proven so successful that it has been dubbed virtual measurement of core properties from well logs. Wireline well logs are usually available from wells that are spread throughout the field while core samples are available only from a few wells. This process allows geo-scientists to accurately and quite easily perform virtual measurement of reservoir properties throughout the field.

Furthermore, Intelligent Reservoir Characterization process allows development of synthetic Magnetic Resonance logs from conventional wireline logs. Nuclear Magnetic Resonance logs measure effective porosity, movable fluid in the formation as well as permeability at high resolutions. The synthetic Magnetic Resonance log generation from wireline logs has been performed and its accuracy verified in Cotton Valley formation in Texas, as well as fields in New Mexico, Utah, and Gulf of Mexico.

The Intelligent Reservoir Characterization process is also capable of deconvolution of surface seismic and extraction of high resolution reservoir properties from surface seismic through VSP, or cross well tomography, a process pioneered by Intelligent Solutions, Inc.
